Job Summary

Palisade Defense Security is seeking professional, dependable, and flexible Armed Security Officers to join our team on an on-call basis. This position is ideal for individuals seeking supplemental income, schedule flexibility, or additional security experience.

On-call officers may be assigned to cover call-offs, vacations, special events, emergency assignments, and new client contracts. Assignments may vary in location, schedule, and duration based on operational needs.

Responsibilities

Patrol assigned locations and maintain a visible security presence.
Monitor entrances and exits to ensure access is restricted to authorized personnel.
Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and security concerns.
Respond professionally to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies.
Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs), incident reports, and other required documentation.
Enforce client policies, site rules, and company procedures.
Monitor surveillance systems and security equipment when assigned.
Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Assist law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.

Qualifications

Valid Nevada PILB Armed Work Card required.
Reliable transportation required.
Previous security, military, law enforcement, or related experience preferred.
Strong communication and report-writing skills.
Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
Professional appearance and conduct at all times.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Schedule Expectations

On-call position only; hours are not guaranteed.
Must be willing to work day, swing, graveyard, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.
Flexible availability is highly preferred.
Assignments are offered based on client needs and operational requirements.
